  • 1/2 cup (125 mL) of milk
  • 1/2 cup (125 mL) of strawberry jelly

Instructions

To begin, preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9 x 9 inch (23 x 23 cm) baking pan, then set aside. In a large bowl, sift together the flour, baking powder, and salt. Set this mixture aside.

In a separate bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add the eggs, one at a time, beating until fully incorporated. Stir in the vanilla extract. Gradually add the flour mixture and the milk, alternating between the two until everything is well combined.
